Garden club - The village gardening club has been running again for a couple of years, but now needs an injection of new members to continue its good work.

This year, they are planning a pruned back schedule while they try and build up new interest.

Membership costs £10 a year, offering the chance to make new friends and learn new things through talks, workshops and trips.

There is also the opportunity to help out in the community through the stalls at village events and autumn bulb planting in the village.

A meeting will be held in April to decide on garden visits for the summer.

Quiz - The twinning association will be holding a quiz night on Thursday March 23.

The cost is £5 per person; either sign up as a team or join a team on the night.

The fun starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from 01507 313934 or 313141.

Hall AGM - The village hall is looking for some new faces to help run this community facility.

Committee meetings are held once a month.

Go along to the AGM in the hall on Thursday, March 16, starting at 7pm, to find out how you can get involved.

Village clubs are also asked to send along a representative.
