Planners were informed at their meeting on Thursday, but the committee resolved that had it of been in a position to consider the application it would have approved it.

R P and C G Clarke are applying for outline planning permission to build the homes on land off Hall Lane. There have been concerns about drainage on the site, with Burgh Town Council calling for a public meeting.

Anglian Water has stated that it is aware of concerns but believes the development could be accommodated within the sewerage network ‘subject to some hydraulic modelling’.
