Make sure you can vote for Lincolnshire's next Police and Crime Commissioner

The Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) election takes place on Thursday May 5 - so make sure you are able to cast your vote.

Polling stations will be open across the county from 7am to 10pm for residents to cast their vote, and residents who are registered to vote will receive their polling card from Thursday March 31.

Whilst many residents are already registered to vote, East Lindsey District Council is encouraging those that haven’t registered to register to ensure they will be able to vote - contact the Council on 01507 601111 if you are not currently registered.

Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at East Lindsey District Council, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth, LN11 8UP by midnight on Monday April 18. Applications can also be made online at: www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

If voting in person at your local polling station is not convenient, you can choose to vote by post or appoint someone you trust as a proxy to cast your vote for you.

Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at East Lindsey District Council, Tedder Hall, Manby Park, Louth LN11 8UP by 5pm on Tuesday April 19.

Applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday April 26.
