Maltby: Men carrying ‘shotgun’ tried to rob post office

Police are now appealing for information following the attempted robbery.

Officers were called to the post office on Rotherham Road, in Maltby, at around 10.20am on Thursday 2nd October.

Two men allegedly entered the post office in possession of a suspected shotgun.

Nothing was stolen and no one was injured during the incident. The men are believed to have left in a van.

Detectives are investigating the incident and inquiries are ongoing.
