Maltby: Police appeal for witnesses after drivers suffer serious injuries in crash

Two people, including an elderly woman, have suffered serious injuries in a collision in Maltby.

The accident happened at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 2nd July on the A631 Tickhill Road, close to the junction with Scotch Spring Lane.

A white Citroen Picasso, being driven by a 38-year-old man from Maltby, had reportedly collided head-on with a silver Honda Jazz, being driven by a 70-year-old woman from Tickhill.

The pensioner suffered injuries including a broken pelvis and broken ribs, while the Picasso driver suffered a broken ankle. Both of them were taken to hospital.
