Maltby: School boy hit by a car on his way to school
A 15-year-old school boy has serious injuries after being hit by a car as he was walking to school.
He was hit by a black Mini Cooper, driven by a 26-year-old woman from Maltby, on the A631 High Street, opposite the Full Life Church, Maltby, at around 8.25am this morning (Thursday).
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 165 of 13th March 2014 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
