Man, 43, dies in collision near Skegness Stock Car Stadium

Police have been at the scene of a fatal road accident in Orby.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on Marsh Lane at 5.16am this morning (Saturday).

Officers found a black Audi S3 Quattro in a field opposite the Skegness Stock Car Stadium.

The man was found in the vehicle and paramedics pronounced he had died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Police believe the vehicle had come from the A158 and it was heading in the direction of Orby. The collision could have happened between 3am and 5.15am.

Anyone who saw this vehicle between these times, or may have captured it on a dashcam, is asked to call 101 quoting incident 49 of 8th May.

A road closure has been in place but police do not believe any other vehicles were involved.
