Man, 56, killed in New Year's Day crash near Alford is named

A man who died when the car he was driving left the road and hit a house near Alford has been named this morning by police.

Keith Harvey (56), of Main Road, Withern, died after a silver Rover 75 he was driving ran off the road and collided with a house at Gayton Top, Louth Road, Gayton Le Marsh, just before 9.10pm on New Year’s Day.

Three passengers who were in the car, two men aged 19 and 20 from Louth and a woman aged 18 from Withern, were treated for minor injuries at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby.

The house was thought to have been unoccupied at the time of the crash.
