Man arrested on Lady Bay Bridge in Nottingham
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on Lady Bay Bridge in Nottingham on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
He has also been arrested on suspicion of an assault allegedly committed in September 2014.
Lady Bay Bridge reopened at around 11.10am this morning after being closed for more than six hours.
Police were called to the scene at around 5am this morning after a man was discovered ‘making threats to his own safety.’
The bridge was blocked off by emergency vehicles.
