Man injured after car hits a house

The man was the only person in the BMW which hit a house in Great North Road, Scrooby, around 1.50pm today (Wednesday).

The bungalow suffered suspected structural damage in the collision. Although there were people inside the house at the at the time, they were not anywhere near where the car hit and no-one was else was injured.

The injured driver, believed to be from the Bircotes area, has been taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact PC 3175 Stephen Pridmore at Nottinghamshire Police on 101.
