Man injured in Beckingham fire

Fire crews from Misterton and Retford were called to a machinery fire at 11.10pm at TWL Logistics, The Old Shipyard.

One worker was taken to hospital by ambulance suffering ‘superficial burns’.

Firefighters spent around an hour at the site. They used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Afterwards, a thermal imaging camera was used to ensure the area was safe.
