Man jailed for caravan theft
A DONCASTER man has been jailed for two years after admitting stealing a caravan from a home in Gildingwells.
On Thursday 23rd August Shaun Merchant, 45, from Dunscroft, Doncaster was witnessed taking a caravan from a property on Woodsetts Road in Gildingwells.
Both the vehicle and caravan were located close to the property and Merchant was arrested by South Yorkshire Police.
Merchant pleaded guilty to theft at Sheffield Crown Court and was sentenced to two years imprisonment on 21st September.
