A WORKSOP man stole his ex-girlfriends puppy and laptop after they split, a court heard.

Shaun David William Bayliss, 22, of Gateford Road, admitted burglary and theft at Worksop Magistrates Court.

The court heard he went to her home on 20th June to get his gold watch back. When he found it was gone he took the puppy and laptop. The puppy was found later in a secured garden.
