Man taken to hospital after accident in Worksop town centre

Air ambulance paramedics joined other medical staff who treated him in the car park of Wildbore Vets at around 1.40pm today (Friday).

Police believe the man, who is in his 80s, lost control of the car he was driving swerving across the carriageway and hitting another car, before hitting the wall of the Wildbore Vets building.

He was taken to Bassetlaw Hospital by road ambulance.

A short section of the road was cordoned off while police investigated the scene.
