Man threw screwdriver
POLICE who stopped to speak to a man in Watson Road, Worksop, found he was carrying an offensive weapon.
Worksop magistrates heard how Callum Pressley, 19, became ‘agitated’ on 21st January when officers pulled up alongside him.
Their colleagues in the control room patched through to say CCTV had caught Pressley throwing something under their patrol car.
When they looked underneath they found a screwdriver.

Hide AdPressley, of Ely Close, Worksop, admitted possessing an offensive weapon. He said he had been carrying the screwdriver for protection against some people who had been threatening him.
Magistrates bailed him unconditionally until 20th February pending probation reports.
