Man to appear in court over Bawtry attack
POLICE have charged a 21-year-old Bawtry man with causing grevious bodily harm in an attack in the early hours of New Year's Day.
Paul Oakden has been remanded in custody to appear at Doncaster Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday 9th January).
Iain Eldridge, 35, remains in a critical condition in Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital with a severe head injury.
The incident happened just after midnight in Station Road, Bawtry, on Sunday 1st January.
