The incident, which happened in Manton Villas at around 1:30pm, happened after an unsolicited doorstep caller offered to undertake work on couples’ roof.
The two men, aged 18 and 16, were arrested yesterday, but the investigation into theft will continue

Police are urging local residents who have experienced a similar approach at their home, or have any information, to contact them on 101, quoting incident 425 of 5th August 2014, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
