May talk for art society members
GAINSBOROUGH and District Fine Arts Society members enjoyed a lecture from guide and art historian Nina Levick with a fresh look at the work of William Hogarth.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday 7th June when Bertie Pearce will deliver a talk entitled: The Punch and Judy Show: a subversive symbol from Commedia del Arte to the present day’.
