Midnight blaze in the Isle
Fire crews from the Isle attended an incident just after midnight, last night.
A car blaze at Trent Side, Keadby, was extinguished and the area made safe.
No major incidents were reported within the Isle during the Fire Brigades Union’s four days of industrial action that ended officially at 6pm yesterday (Tuesday).
Firefighters were striking over planned changes to their pensions by the Government, and the retirement age of firefighters being lifted from 55 to 60.
