Find out what happened below the feet of those well trodden fields and hills at Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre where an exhibition is being held from March 1 to March 31 to show what life was like underground.

See the layout of the mines and the machinery; learn of the lives of the miners and listen to their stories.

Admission is free.
