Emergency services - including Mablethorpe, Skegness and Wrangle Coastguards and Lincolnshire Police - searched car parks and other hot spots between Sutton on Sea and Ingoldmells yesterday (Monday)..

After a three-hour intensive search nothing was found so all teams were stood down.

However, on the way back to Mablethorpe, the Coastguard was informed by Humber Coastguard that the man had been located safe and well at Skegness train station, and was being taken home by police.
