Misterton: Dance school gets funding boost to help with costumes

Pupils of Misterton’s Everett-Fox School of Dance are preparing to improve their skills by entering regional dance competitions.

And to help them do that, District Councillor Hazel Brand has presented them with £200 from her community grant budget to help with the cost of their costumes.

The Everett-Fox School is all about dancing for everyone.

The thriving dance school offers a range of children’s dance classes and their aim is to provide a stimulating and enjoyable environment for each pupil where they can learn a variety of dance skills along with confidence, self-esteem and learn life skills too.

In addition to their IDTA-accredited dance lessons for children, the school organises other dance events, including their popular annual showsand dance parties for children’s birthdays or other special occasions.

The school also offers private dance lessons for adults for special occasions, such as couples preapring for their ‘first dance’ at a their wedding.
