Misterton folk’s charity walk

CHARITABLE folk from Misterton trekked nearly 100 miles to raise over £1,000 for charity.

Susan and Nigel Noscoe and Margaret and Mick Makings walked 84 miles in eight days to raise money for Help For Heroes.

Their sponsored walk along Hadrians Wall over in Scotland was done in honour of one of their children who has been to Afghanistan several times – raising £1,332.

“A big thank you to clients and staff of Pinfold House vets and the Misterton Co-op,” said Susan. “We’d also like to thank all of our families and friends who sponsored us too.”

She added: “We had a great response and never expected to raise so much.”
