Misterton: Large number turn out for charity ride in the sun

Approximately 100 cyclists took part in the annual Misterton charity ride around the villages with people of all ages enjoying the sunshine while taking part in the ride of about 12 miles.

All ages took part in the event from young children through to senior citizens.

The family event helped raise hundreds of pounds for a chosen charity of the riders’ choice.

Cyclists started from their chosen local pub to ride a clockwise route finishing at their chosen venue.

Organisers thanked all those who took part with one of those behind the event, Trevor Halstead, commenting: “It was fantastic to see so many families out enjoying a cycle ride with their youngsters.”
