Misterton: New group gets ready for its first meeting
The first meeting of a new local history group, which will contribute to commemoration of local lives lost in the Great War, is on Thursday 21st November at 6pm in the Church Room, Misterton.
Lest We Forget, Misterton and West Stockwith in The Great War, is led by local historian David Seymour supported by Misterton Area Partnership.
The project will focus on locals whose names are listed on the war memorials outside All Saints’ Church in Misterton and inside St Mary’s Church in West Stockwith.
