Morton: Social fun an indoor bowls club

Over 40 people joined at the start, and for the past 10 years membership has been consistently in the mid 30s.

The bowling at the club is purely social, with four internal competitions and friendly games with other local clubs.

The club meets three times a week on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.

The club is able to keep fees to a minimum, with the cost for a two hour session just £1.50.

Anyone who wants to get involved should pop down to one of the weekly meetings.
