Motorcyclist in hospital after collision with tractor in Gainsborough

The man, from Lincoln, was left with write and head injuries after his Suzuki motorbike was in a collision with a Claas tractor at around 9.40am on the A159 Blyton Road, Thonock.

A police spokesman said the man has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

The road is currently closed and local diversions are being set up.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the vehicles on the road prior to it is asked to call the 101 non-emergency number quoting incident number 94 of February 17.
