Motorists warned of large loads on M180 and M18 for three weeks

Humberside Police Roads Policing Unit will be escorting the transportation of 60-metre-long wind turbine blades from Immingham Docks to Fraisthorpe near Bridlington from Monday November 9 for three weeks.

Two blades will be moved each day from Monday to Saturday, with a few exceptions.

They will start their journey from Immingham Docks at 9.30am and the route will be along the A160, A180, M180, M18, M62, A63, A164, A1079, A1035 and onto the A165, planning to arrive at their destination at Fraisthorpe around 3pm.

Motorists are advised that there will be localised slow moving traffic along the route during transportation.
