MP and police commissioner support '˜amazing' Boston Women's Aid

Community leaders have met with representatives of Boston Women's Aid to understand the '˜amazing work' being done.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the group and MP Matt Warman and Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones visited them at their base at Boston Library to get a picture of the work they do, the challenges they face and the support they need to do their work.
Mr Jones said: “The protection of vulnerable people and supporting the victims of crime are both high priorities for my office in the months ahead

“I’m keen to get a complete understanding of the amazing work being done by many groups across the county.

“Boston Women’s Aid is one such example of an organisation doing crucial and remarkable work to protect women and children.”
Mr Warman said: “I am pleased we have such a committed team focused on helping vulnerable victims reach a place of safety and rebuild their lives.

“I will continue to give my full support to the organisation to ensure this vital service continues.”
