MP visit to Framework

BASSETLAW MP John Mann visited a welfare-to-work service to see how the long-term unemployed are being supported back into the jobs market.

He went to EVE Works, on Retford Road, which is run by homelessness charity Framework on behalf of public service provider A4e.

Framework uses its knowledge of working with vulnerable people to break down barriers to work and match candidates with suitable roles.

Claire Eden, Framework’s head of employment, volunteering and social enterprise, said: “Our specialist staff work closely with local employers to ensure that suitable and varied positions are made available.”
