Philip Maher, 43, of Clarence Road, Worksop. Had in his possession a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. Fined £65. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed.

MOTORING

Marcin Bober, 40, of Furnival Street, Worksop. Drove a motor vehicle, namely a black Mazda, without insurance and after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 113 microgrammes in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes in 100 mililitres of breath. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 12 months. Disqualified from driving for three years. Ordered to complete a rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 in cort costs and a £115 victim surcharge.

BREACH

Ian Lewis, 22, of Forest Lane, Worksop. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to work as instructed. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay court costs of £50.

Andrew Adlington, 37, of Tunnel Road, Retford. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Andrew Bushby, 52, of Ramsden Avenue, Langold. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for two years. Restraining order made to protect the victim. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a victim surcharge of £80.

David Sumner, 35, of The Oval, Retford. Assaulted a woman by beating her. Community order made with programme requirement. Must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

THEFT

Richard frost, 41, of Lincoln Street, Worksop. Entered Matalan in Worksop when prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. Stole a suitcase, to the value of £50, belonging to Matalan. Attempted to steal tools worth £127, belonging to Matalan. Committed to prison for four weeks.

Jason Ramsdale, 25, of Brecks Road, Retford. Stole a Llyods bank card. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £80 court costs and a £25 victim surcharge.

DAMAGE

RYAN McCusker, 28, of Hereford Close, Worksop. Damaged a double glazed window to a value unknown. Community order made with programme requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
