Luke Holmes, 42, of Overend Road, Worksop. Assaulted a woman by beating her and damaged furniture belonging to her. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made forbidding defendant to contact the victim. Must also pay £85 court costs, £50 in compensation and a £115 victim surcharge.

Mccaulley Hancock, 20, of Bridge Street, Worksop. Assaulted two men. Committed to prison for three months suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £170 in court costs and £75 in compensation.

Michael Scott, 39, of Shrewsbury Road, Worksop. Stole DVDs to the value of £46.94 belonging to WHSmith. Community order made with 12 week curfew and electronic monitoring requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Toni Price, 23, of Watson Road, Worksop. Stole clothing, to the value of £102, belonging to Matalan. Stole ten bottles of Lenor, to the value of £50, and three bottles of Bold liquid detergent, to the value of £19.50, belonging to Asda. Stole four bottles of Radox bath soak, to the value of £4, belonging to a shop on Gateford Road. Committed to prison for 18 weeks.

BREACH

Donna Wilson, 43, of Elmton Road, Creswell. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend apppointments as instructed. Fined £30. Also ordered to pay court costs of £75.

DRUGS

Paul Crawley, 27, of Wharton Street, Retford. Had in his possession a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drugs of Class B. Fined £150. Also ordered to pay £80 in court costs and a £30 victim surcharge. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed.

Timothy Hall, 18, of Netherton Road, Worksop. Without lawful excuse, damaged a front bay window to a value unknown. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £150.
