New clerk needed at Belton Parish Council

As a consequence of the current clerk of Belton Parish Council, Ray Matthews, resigning after 26 years, the grass roots authority is now looking to appoint a replacement.

The job is part-time, an average of ten hours per week, and involves working from home.

Computer skills are a must.

Duties include convening, attending and producing minutes of meetings, dealing with all correspondence and keeping accurate accounts.

The position also includes managing a cemetery, in so much as marking of graves for burials and maintaining accurate records.
