Rachael Stevenson-Joyce from Livali Support Ltd said: “Livali Days has an aim to encourage and stimulate our clients and do things that have a purpose so they are able to become more independent and feel valued.

“We also want them to be able to socialise, meet new friends and gain new skills in a safe and supportive environment.”

The on-site activities on offer by the group includes animal welfare and horse care, crafts, food preparation and general life and living skills.

Rachael added: “The great thing about being based at LRAC is there are multi-purpose rooms we can use as well as their outdoor space.

“So we are able to offer clients supported travel training, which helps build skills and confidence for using public transport.”

People who come to the group will also benefit from a range of off-site activities, such as swimming, bowling, farm visits, walking and eating out.
