New homes plan for Crowle

Funding for 16 new affordable homes to be built in Crowle is to be made available over three years, within a wider building scheme.

North Lincolnshire Homes has secured funding from the Homes and Communities Agency to build 135 brand new properties across the region.

The Homes and Communities Agency has awarded £3,375,000 for affordable homes for targeted areas including Crowle.

Subject to planning permission, the money will be used to build homes in Westcliff, Scunthorpe, Broughton, Kirton in Lindsey and Brigg.

The properties will be a mixture of houses, bungalows and apartments. They will all be offered at affordable rents.

Andy Orrey, chief executive of ongo, said: “This is a major milestone in our ambitious five year plan to build high quality homes people want to live in, invest in local communities, create jobs and apprenticeships and support the local economy.”
