and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The fast food chain has announced how its restaurants across the UK will operate from today in the wake of new lockdown restrictions imposed earlier this week.
In a statement, the firm’s chief executive officer Paul Pomroy said the company is taking time to adjust to the changes which he described as ‘the new normal.’

“Today we have over 1,300 restaurants open, and this week’s announcement from the Prime Minister has led to a number of questions around which services we will be offering when and where.
The following rules will apply from September 24.
Between 5am and 10pm, customers can visit for takeaway, dine-in, Drive-thru and order McDelivery through Uber Eats and Just Eat at participating locations.
Dine-in customers will continue to be served by table service, with numbers inside the restaurant carefully managed to ensure social distancing.

Face coverings will continue to be required for employees and customers, except while seated in the dining area.
After 10pm, Drive-thru lanes will remain open and McDelivery will continue to be available via Uber Eats and Just Eat at participating locations.
He added: “For many years we have been proud to serve customers overnight, providing a familiar beacon in towns and cities across the country, offering great value to night workers, emergency service personnel, night owls and early risers across the UK.

“There are, and will continue to be, local exceptions to the above, including additional restrictions in some areas. We will be guided by local and national government regulations and will ensure the My McDonald’s app, our website and delivery partner apps are kept up to date with the latest available services and opening hours in your area.
“We are all getting more familiar with technology helping us to navigate this new normal.
“This is not how I expected us to be entering the autumn and winter in our restaurants but your support has meant we’ve been able to protect jobs and to continue serving the communities in which we operate.
