New seasonal event added to calendar at gardening centre near Boston

The attraction at Bell’s, on Benington, launched just weeks after the conclusion of this year’s pumpkin festival.

Event co-coordinator Ruth Brown said: “It was a tight deadline to get the market and displays up and running in time, but we got the job done with plenty of festive cheer.”

The indoor market is open every day until Christmas and offers ‘things you can’t really get on the high street’, Ruth said.

It is joined on weekends by a pop-up outdoor Christmas market hosting local artisan businesses.

It is hoped that, given enough support, the Christmas market can grow and become an annual event.
