It is hoped the morning will help students get to know each other a little bit more so they are prepared and ready for the transition to the brand new school in September.

The event is expected to finish around 12 noon.

Sonia Allen, Humber UTC Project Manager, said: “The idea behind tomorrow’s event is to enable new students to get to know each other and to ensure that they are as prepared as they can be and know what to expect.

“They have had the chance to meet their new Principal Andrew Downing last week and this is just the next step really to ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease from day one.

“The event aims to be fun and informative. We have key Humber UTC partners there who will be getting students involved in various activities throughout the morning, to help with the transition to their new environment.”
