n GAINSBOROUGH Police are appealing for a young woman to come forward who was out jogging on the High Street in Sturton-by-Stow on Sunday December 9 between 8.30am and 9am as she might have witnessed a collision where a blue Vauxhall Vectra left the road and overturned. A 26-year-old Gainsborough man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail pending further enquiries. n STAFF at a Gainsborough bank are aiming to help deprived families in the town. The HSBC branch in Market Place is running a campaign to get presents for a handful of people in the area. n A STORE manager from Gainsborough has represented Costa Coffee at Marshall’s Yard in a national competition. Mike Jones, 30, of Ropery Road first won a regional heat. Mr Jones then went to London to represent his store in the finals. There is a regional final for each area which covers 25 stores. The finalists met up and there were three winners from Whitbread and one from the regional heats.
