n GAINSBOROUGH Police are appealing for information about the theft of a black Vauxhall Vectra - registration number starting WJ51.

The vehicle was stolen from Connaught Road in the town between 7pm on August 2 and 11.45am on August 7. Anyone with any information should contact police on (01427) 810910 with incident number 167 of August 7.

n A BLACK Volvo S40 has been stolen from a property on Church Street at Willoughton. Police say the burglary happened overnight on Monday August 6. Entry was gained to the porperty through an adjoining garage to the house. The Volvo - registration number starting FV55 - was parked on the drive when taken. Anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police with incident number 188 of 7 August on (01673) 842212.

n THIEVES swipped a tax disc from a red Yamaha motorcycle that was parked at the caf at Willingham Woods picnic area on Willingham Road, Willingham between 7.30pm on Wednesday August 1 and 7pm on Tuesday August 7. Anyone with information is asked to contact police with crime number DF/07/1359 on (01673) 842212.
