NHS staff including a number from Louth clock up 1,600 years dedicated service

The 63 staff members from Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) have clocked up an amazing 1,600 years service between them.

Those who received awards had completed 20, 30 and even 40 years of dedicated and continuous service.

LCHS chair Elaine Baylis said: “I would like to thank each of these individuals for the dedication they have shown to their professions.

“It’s always very heart-warming to hear about their experiences of working in the NHS.

“Particularly those who have spent their years with patients and families across the Lincolnshire area. It is a pleasure to be able to help them celebrate their loyal service.”

Those in the Louth area who have been recognised for 30 years long service include: Maria Peterson, staff nurse based at Louth Hospital, April Fixter, a district nurse, Ian Butcher, an emergency care practitioner in out of hours, Alison Bunn, a cardiac rehabilitation nurse specialist and team lead, Fiona Best, a support worker, Sally Scott, nurse practitioner, and health visitor Jayne Jacklin.

Those marking their 20 years of loyal service from the Louth area were: Jennifer Larder, staff nurse, Lisa Raven, nurse practitioner, Kerry Goodlifee, staff nurse, David Thompson, clinicial technologist, Elizabeth McShane, community nurse, Angela Frith, a secretary based in Louth, Helen Finnie, ward clerk, and Hazel Fisher, a housekeeper.
