Night of soul and motown at The Gliderdrome

Hitmaker Clem Cirtus was scheduled to return to the Gliderdrome in Boston this Saturday, February 25, with The Rumble Band.

In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday) Steve Greenhough from The Gliderdrome posted that Clem will not be playing this Saturday.

Steve said: “Due to Clem Curtis’s serious health issues he is currently hospitalized and he will not be able to appear this Saturday night at The Gliderdrome.

“The event will still go ahead with The Rumble Band playing two sets.

“Everyone that bought tickets at £15 will be refunded £5

“Anyone who wants a full refund can have one by returning there tickets back to the Gliderdrome.”

The Rumble Band, a 12-piece soul, Motown and dance band with more than 20 years experience, will be headlining the evening.

They will play hits from the 60s and 70s.

Steve Greenhough added: “Saturday will be a night of soul and motown at The Gliderdrome.”

Tickets are priced at £15 from The Gliderdrome, Burgess, Thompson and Richardson in High Street; Chris Cook Print, in Main Ridge East; The Bakehouse Cafe, in Wide Bargate; and The Black Bull, in Kirton, and £20 on the door.
