Night time car fire in Heckington and tree stump ablaze in Ashby de la Launde
A fire crew from Sleaford was called out last night to a vehicle on fire in Heckington.
The crew used hoses, foam and dry powder extinguishers to tackle the blaze on Howell Road in the village, which was reported just after 9pm
There is no report of how the fire started.
On Saturday evening, a crew from Metheringham attended woodlands off the B1191 at Ashby de la Launde at 6.18pm where a tree stump was on fire.
Firefighters put it out using a water backpack and a spade, accordingv to the fire service report.
