North Anston: Man jailed after £400k worth of cocaine and heroin seized from property

A 34-year-old man from North Anston has been jailed after admitting possession and supply offences for both Class A and Class B drugs in Rotherham.

Shane McKay, of Woodland Drive, appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday 15th June to receive his sentence, after pleading guilty at an earlier hearing to possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of Class B drugs.He was jailed for seven-and-a-half years.

Sergeant Denis Plaistow said: “We are pleased with the sentence , ensuring he remains off the streets of Rotherham for a considerable period of time.”

Four kilos of cocaine and one kilo of heroin were seized from the property, with a street value of around £400,000.
