North Anston: Starlight bringing some sunshine to children at Bluebell Wood

Starlight is national charity that grants wishes for seriously and terminally ill children and provides entertainment in hospitals and hospices across the UK.

They will be performing Beauty and The Beast, The Jungle Book and The Wizard of Oz.

The performance will be fully interactive with four actors singing, dancing and performing for children, their families and staff.

“We are here to create special memories for our children and families,” said Catherine Holland, a play co-ordinator at Bluebell Wood.

“Hosting such fantastic activities for them to have lots of fun here at Bluebell Wood is really important – our children enjoy themselves so much when we have performances at the hospice and we are grateful for Starlight for this fabulous opportunity.”
