North Somercotes man sentenced after breaching restraining order

Phillip Roger Moore, 26, of Warren Road in North Somercotes, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to contacting a woman, without reasonable excuse, despite being the subject of a restraining order which was imposed last month.

Moore appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on May 4, where he admitted that, on May 1, he contacted the woman in Louth.

He had been prohibited from contacting the woman due to a restraining order which had been imposed by Lincoln Crown Court on April 1.

Moore was given a six month conditional discharge, and he was ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
