North Somercotes poet to launch her work in Louth

A poet from North Somercotes is holding an event in Louth to launch her new poetry pamphlet.

Lynda Plater is bringing forward her collection of poetry for the first time.

The poetry pamphlet which is a dozen poems called, “Three Seasons for Burning” is a culmination of old and new work.

Also included in it is Lynda’s winning entry of the first write across East Lindsey (now Wolds Words) poetry competition of the 1990s.

Her local launch will take place in the upstairs room at Larders II coffee house in the New Market Hall, Louth on Easter Saturday (March 26).

The launch begins at 2pm. It will be an informal event with a short reading from Lynda’s collection.

The audience are welcome to sit and listen over a cup of coffee. The pamphlet will also be for sale on the day and Lynda will sign a copy for anyone who wants one.
