Nostalgia: Coningsby Guides provide meal in a cell - 1984

We take a look back to 1984 where the Coningsby Guides' Bluebell Patrol came up with a plan as part of a food and farming cooking challenge.
Nostalgia.Nostalgia.
Nostalgia.

They decided to cook Sunday lunch and serve the meal up inside a police cell.

Pictured are the guides involved, who prepared the meal for Coningsby bobby Julian Millington and his wife Jane, who were the lucky two chosen to be locked up in the cell and sample the delicious food prepared for them by the youngsters.

Judging by the smiles, it must have gone down a treat.
