Nostalgia: Motorcycle memories in Aby
This wonderful picture from almost 100 years ago shows William Crawford, of Aby, near Alford.
Mr Crawford, the village blacksmith, is pictured with his 1908 2¼hp Lincoln Elk motorcycle.
The motorcycle was a powerhouse of the time, but went out of production in 1920.
