Nostalgia: National serviceman (1953)
Nicholas Britz from Sutton on Sea sent us in this photograph of him alongside many other at RAF Bridgeworth in Shropshire.
It was taken in 1953 and it was around three weeks before their passing out parade during their training for national service.
Nicholas is pictured in the photograph and can be seen on the second row, sixth in from the left.
He was 17 and a half and was the youngest man in the squadron and is now approaching his 81st birthday.
